It looks like putting movies on hold is the new thing for
Paramount Studios to do. First they decide to release G.I Joe 2 next year
instead of this planned summer. And now they have decided to INDEFINATELY put
production on hold for the Michael Bay directed Ninja Turtles film. According
to numerous sources, the hiatus of production is due to script problems.
Never far from controversy, the reboot to the Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles has already received backlash from many fans angry at Bay for not
only changing the title to ‘Ninja Turtles’ but stating that they would be more
“Alien” than they would be Mutant. But now, in a move sure to anger fans even
more, the scheduled 2013 release is now in the wind pending the production of
the film. Whenever that is...
Rumour has it that we will have to wait until at least 2014
to see the Turtles in action.
